I went into the Best Buy store at 11525 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210 to buy an Apple Watch. At checkout, I asked to price match to Costco.com. The store clerk said they only price match for Best Buy plus members and this policy has been in place as long as he’s worked there. I asked them to show me where it says that on their price match policy which they could not produce. After refusing to price match, I told them I would take my business elsewhere due to their dishonest practices.
My parents didn’t realize companies don’t offer warranties with their products just because it’s bought in stores. They especially didn’t know Best Buy requires you to spend extra upon purchase in case the dvd player you bought breaks two weeks later. My parents also didn’t know that when they ask for help at customer service they would be treated so aggressively and stupidly by a teenager behind the counter that it would leave them ashamed that they asked for more specifics. They don’t complain about this type of behavior and I had to witness it. Best Buy deserves a lot more than a bad review.
BestBuy on Metcalf Ave. I came in looking for RTX 5090 laptops, but none were on display. No staff were around to assist. I approached a person near the entrance and asked if they had any 5090 laptops on display — he said no, because "they get stolen and there's nothing we can do about it." I then asked a simple tech question about whether MSI or ASUS was better, and he replied, "I don't know." I asked if there was a tech expert, and again he said, "I don't know." I told him that Microcenter Store treats customers much better and always steps in to help, and he replied, “Yes, they are better than us.” Honestly, customer service here is zero. If I could give less than one star, I would. I’m never coming back to this location.
Didn't have what online said they had, do I had to go to opks
