Great help with screen protectors as always!
I recently visited Best Buy and had a frustrating experience. When I walked in, both a female and a male employee greeted me warmly, which I appreciated. This is the only reason it’s 2 stars instead of 1. I was looking for a Chromecast, and the male employee informed me that Best Buy no longer carries them, which was helpful.
However, despite me clearly telling him twice that I preferred to browse on my own, he continued following me through the store. I enjoy shopping independently and don't like feeling pressured or rushed while looking around. I came in around 7:45 PM knowing the store closed at 8:00 PM, so I was mindful of the time.
What made the interaction more uncomfortable was that while following me, he checked his watch multiple times. If he was ready to leave or focused on something else, that only reinforced why I had asked to browse by myself in the first place.
I understand employees are encouraged to assist customers, but it's also important to respect boundaries when a customer politely says they would rather shop independently. The experience left me feeling uncomfortable and less likely to return.
