I had what some might think was a simple transaction. I needed a replacement charger for my daughter’s Surface Pro. I arrived at the Maize Rd location in Wichita, KS.I was at the store with the computer and the nonfunctional charger. I was directed to the Microsoft area where I met Mark. As I learned, he is 20 year-old Mechanical Engineering student. I had several questions to make sure I was purchasing the correct item and the difference between the broken charger and the replacement. He looked up the model number to confirm the computer was compatible. He even took it out of the box and we tried it out to ensure it would work with my daughter’s computer. Which I appreciated greatly.
Mark was polite, engaging, well-spoken and informative. This is the type of service and interaction I rarely receive. It was a nice change and I was less frustrated about a purchase that I was less than enthusiastic about and an item that was $50 more than I anticipated.
Good job, Mark. Keep up the good work! You are making Best Buy look good.
Got my questions answered and will return for a new phone
If you need help with your phone just go to see AT&T directly. The grand majority of the crew for it here has no clue what to do if it’s not a basic purchase.
