I returned the following morning, where I was told they were not in stock, nor available online, despite me finding them on the Best Buy website. The inconsistency and lack of product knowledge was concerning. I was met with rudeness when addressing this with another employee, and even the headquarters call was unprofessionally handled. This experience has been frustrating and reflects poorly on Best Buy’s customer service standards.”

Went to the Verizon store on Maple and Maize on Friday June 27, 2025 thinking they were a certified Verizon store. My phone was not getting a signal & I was unable to make or receive calls through the Verizon network on my eSIM.
They told me my phone was the problem and I needed to buy a SIM card from them, get a new phone from their store, or go down the street to another store to get my phone repaired on their referral.
When I questioned the options, suggesting it was a mobile service issue and not a phone hardware issue they refused to accept the possibility and offer any other assistance.
I left and went to Best Buy. The Verizon team there alongside Verizon phone support found multiple problems on my phone resulting from my time at the Verizon store on Maple and Maize. 1) My number had been security locked. 2) My number had been suspended. 3) The number for the primary account holder on our plan had been switched from a SIM card to an eSIM and placed on my phone.
So Best Buy with Verizon phone support spent the next 4 hours fixing the problems the Verizon store on Maple and Maize created in 15 minutes. I had to get a new phone number in the end because of the damage done. Grateful for the support from the Best Buy team.
