The Geek Squad is always friendly and informative. I got in and out, not much of a wait. Hopefully I get my laptop back quickly. I will keep you updated.
I drove across town based on a referral from the East Wichita Best Buy for an item that was listed as in stock. Upon arrival, there were no associates available to assist me in locating the product, so I had to request help from a cashier. Approximately five minutes later, an associate arrived, but first needed to retrieve an electronic key in order to access the inventory.
After checking the primary location and two additional possible storage areas, I was informed that the item was not available and that it was likely an inventory error. Whether this was truly an inventory issue or a lack of thorough effort, the end result was the same, a significant inconvenience and wasted time.
In total, I spent approximately 25 driving there and 20 minutes in the store, with only about four minutes actually spent searching for the item. Despite this, the product continues to be listed on the website as available for purchase and pickup within an hour. This disconnect between online inventory and in-store availability is frustrating and undermines customer trust
