Purchased speakers and scheduled installation which used to be free under total tech. Was charged $280 for install since they changed the program. On our way to install we get a call from installer saying salesman didn’t schedule him enough time based on the car/speakers. Told us to turn around and come back the following week at a date and time which was not convenient. They also told us they could not order the required adapters and harnesses so I purchased from other sites for $100 roughly. Show up to the inconvenient install timeframe with the parts and speakers. Installer says that can’t do this installation. It can’t be done without purchasing an additional amp and bypassing stock amp. Total cost for parts and labor would be an additional $1k. It’s a VW bug not a Bugatti. So after 3 trips to Best Buy (not close to me at all as I live in Indiana and the closest store is in KY) they tell me to return everything and go somewhere else and start from scratch. Multiple trips (x2 each time) because I had to get picked up. On top of that if you call the store to talk to them you CANT get a hold of the store it directs you overseas and they will NOT connect you. Why did Best Buy survive and not Circuit city? FAIL
