Best Buy sales people were very helpful. Great in store experience. But…once you make a purchase there is no way to call the store and talk to a live human being. All calls are handled by AI. The customer service center for BB advises there is no Best Buy store in the USA that will accept a live call because they receive too many calls. What!!! I was told I have to go to the store to ask my question but they can’t even tell me if the person who helped me is even working! How ridiculous is it that you can’t talk to anyone at the store. This is customer service??!!
I brought my MacBook to the geekbar for a diagnostic to see why the screen had died. I browsed the new MacBooks and Ipads and the girls over there were very helpful with pricing and knew their products well. Average cost for a new ipad or laptop was going to be around $1300. After waiting in line about 30 min because you have to make an appt to be seen, the guy at the geekbar who couldn't have been more than 20 yrs old quoted me $340 just to look at it and suggested I consider purchasing a new one. Well, I went over to CPR phone repair on mall road and paid $40 for a diagnostic and had better options, less expensive options, and more personalized service. In the future, I won't be going back to best buy.
