This is going to be a mixed review and the one star is mainly for their Geek Squad due to some negative experiences I had when I was a student at a local university trying to utilize their services. Please ignore corporate's response to this as they are merely trying to save face for public relations reasons. I was disrespected, experienced associates who took their revenge on me because I was a "Karen" for speaking up when something went wrong and because I walked away from the service counter rather than yell at them when they messed up. I only paid for their "Total Protection Plan" because I was working full-time while going to college online and hoped on my breaks three times a year that I could leave my computer for updates and maintenance. I successfully had them rebuild my exes' computer twice due to a motherboard failure and video card failure. As for me they built my first computer fine in January of 2022. When I decided to build a second leisure/gaming rig in November 2023 that is when all the problems started. Due to a lack of listening by a new associate and inexperience by a new tech things went wrong very fast. The new tech put the PC together however he wanted and the new counter help never even documented specific requests for placement on the AIO and fans for the new iCue link stuff at the time. He also forgot to plug in a crucial wire to the CPU and the computer a overheat shutdown when I tried to just log into Windows to look into schoolwork. The new counter associate also would not give me more than one minute of seeing that the computer just turned on. When I walked away from the counter due to my disgust with where they placed the radiator up top due to the fact I had asked them to "conceal it" behind a panel they got upset. Again same girl didn't document this when I had taken the time to go over with her. When they got their present Geek Squad manager things got even worse. He decided he didn't like me and formed a plan with other managers to "get rid of a customer." I was constantly greeted by associates at the front of the store who would have me followed by others despite the fact I always paid cash for all purchases. Because I had complained to corporate about the poor build on my second computer I now had a target on my back and was written up constantly as a "horrible person/customer." Had no idea this was happening while I used services in my last six months as a member. They even gave me my PC built in 2022 by them back in pieces in August 2024 with the video card not seated after I had them replaced the power supply because my cousin didn't have it plugged into the UPS at home and a surge occurred during a storm. That same PC I also had them upgrade the storage and they didn't image it right and cancelled the store warranty on a newly purchased NVME that day after I left. There are some good floor associates but longtime customers shouldn't be targeted and fired because we have constructive feedback.

Best Buy needs to fire everyone that works at lexington Best Buy. Unhelpful. Unorganized. This place is terrible. Best Buy offered me $100 for wasting 2 hours of my life. I told them to shove it !
