The Covington Louisiana Best Buy is not a customer friendly store. Walking in getting stared at after asking for the way to see about my earbuds that stopped charging I was directed to customer service where I stood for minutes before the associate decided to look up from her phone and say to me “you need something?” As if I’m standing at Best Buy customer service as a hobby. Not “hi welcome to Best Buy how can I help today? “ or “ welcome in what can I help you with?”. Then to her barely inaudible tone staring at a screen and utters “phone number” not name or what’s up nothing but rude and awkward. After I could finally make out what she’s saying she proceeded to insist I didn’t have a service the I’ve had for years. I said “I don’t know how to dispute what you’re saying can you get someone?”. So she begrudgingly calls a manager or asst manager who actually asks questions and gets the information that’s been there for years. So I brush it off and go TV shopping where I looked and looked for a price for a 55” and no help. Two people loitering at the front door phone watching and several associates just wandering made ZERO attempt to help. Finally I leave as I get a nasty stare down on the way out as if it was an inconvenience for me shopping there and obviously not a parting greet like have a a great day or something pleasant…thank you for shopping have a good day…NOTHING just a menacing stare. This place has gone to shit since Covid this is the first negative review I’ve written here. When will true customer service be restored and hardworking people are valued for contributing business and spend our hard earned money at your store? This was 10/6/25 appx 2pm

The Covington Best Buy has no representatives, managers, nor clerks whom are knowledgable in any areas. They signed me up for a rewards card that turned out to be a credit card, sold me a microwave with no manual and missing parts. They also managed to break my tail light as they were loading the item in my trunk. As far as calling the Local store, you are unable to reach anyone Your call is sent to a representative in another country. They do not answer their local number. Not only are they not knowledgeable they are rude and unhelpful. I recommend not shopping at Best Buy Covington!
There’s no way to get in contact with a store associate! When calling the store to speak with an associate, I am told customers are not allowed to speak with associates over the telephone:(unhappy
