I ordered a Philips Hue bulb for pickup, which was advertised as being ready within one hour. I waited until 4:40 PM and called for an update. I was explicitly told it would be ready in '5 minutes.'
When I hadn't received a notification by 9 PM, I called again, only to be told it wouldn't be ready until next week. Then, magically, it was ready the very next morning.
It is incredibly frustrating to be lied to multiple times. It seems clear that the phone support has no actual connection to the store. Best Buy needs to stop outsourcing their support to underpaid teams who clearly aren't given the right tools or information, and start hiring local staff who actually know what is going on in the store. Being bounced around with false promises is a terrible customer experience.
Best Buy helped me recycle a nonfunctional TV and 2 old Dish receivers. They were very accommodating and politely helpful.
Nothing special, same as others with less customer service

Its hard to get some customer service at this location. Yell out very loud "Can I get some customer service"!?, and someone will eventually come. I was next in line at the phone department. The employee helped the customer in front of me, then walked away to do nothing. When I yelled out, he came.
