Went in for a headphone exchange, the headphones were making crackling noises. It was on the more complicated side. The cashier did his best but needed a manager. They processed the return on the protection plan for $0. Now we have to call the online service to try and fix the protection plan. I am really gonna reconsider purchasing ANYTHING at Best Buy under the circumstances. They even attempted to keep the old headphones even though the warranty exchange was done for $0. This was possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had the misfortune of being a part of
Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I can't recall if this used to be a circuit city or something else that failed, but the amount of stock here is depressing. Looking for 5Gb network cards, external HD >10TB, large capacity internal spinning drives for cold/archive storage. They had none of these. We need more Microcenters in New England.
If you are looking for crappy but over marketed stuff, this is your place (Beats, Apple, etc.)

from the dawn of best buy, people were able to be helped without having to be routed to a national database and talk to AI.
cant call and talk to a person without having to speak to AI first.
