If you value your money, you wouldn’t spend it here at Best Buy Dedham. In the last month I’ve spent $800 on a tv, $200 on a ps5 headset that didnt work, and tried exchanging it with in 30 days, but do to the 14day Best Buy policy which is bad compared to Target and Walmart, I was got stuck with broken product. Then i had to buy an exclusive bestbuy meta quest xbox for $400 and it was nothing but issues. My wife went to pay for the item for me last week, and used her name instead of mine, but she used my Credit Card with my name on it ( which they didn’t ask for ID, but over a certain amount you’re supposed to ) and I tried showing them with my matching ID, yet they gave me a hard time. I showed on the receipt it said nothing about a correlating ID with name on purchase and just to have an ID. When I picked up my $800 tv from them they didn’t ask for an ID, so where’s the consistency ? It felt more like a discrimination issue and less about the product or ID. I asked to speak to a manager and that’s when Lenny Dance came over raging along with other employees. He went from raising his voice, to trying to cancel my order without my permission, to his whole team coming and sticking there hands in my face and talking over my while I made a valid point. When places like this location close in the future, we know why… it’s not the economy, but it’s actually the ppl that work there and the fact customer service doesn’t exist. Especially at the Dedham Best Buy location. You go in there and try to find help. I’ve walked around the store with no one coming to me to see if they can help, plenty times. Is this somewhere you want to spend your hard earned money ? If you value you mr dollar, I would take it somewhere people show respect.
This best buy is really well organized and has tons of easy parking. Super friendly and helpful staff also make any visit here really pleasant.
I was shopping for the new Fitness aura ring. when I walked through the door immediately someone greeted me. I asked her where I could find the rings she sent me to the area, and then unbeknownst to me, had an employee come over to help which was awesome. that’s what I call. Great service..
Pretty empty, people wise, customer service is a hit or miss. FYI you can scan your own items and check out from your phone if you have a debit or credit card.
