Due to a supervisor's callous attitude and Best Buy's refusal to honor its own customer service assurances, I am filing a formal complaint with the FTC. A supervisor denied my return of a mis-delivered product just six days after I received it. This was despite clear assurances from customer service that I would be granted an extended return period for the open-box laptop due to a significant delivery delay. The supervisor claimed the decision was solely at his discretion and that my claim could not be validated. In reality, the case is heavily documented, and I possess audio recordings from FedEx in which they state the order was lost and unrecoverable. This ordeal cost me over eight days of my demanding schedule. While the laptop is now miraculously working, the fact that my consumer right to return it was taken from me, coupled with the mental stress I endured, is unacceptable. As a Harvard student, I have the support of the law faculty and am prepared to take this further. We will legally challenge the claim that corporate responsibility ends once a product leaves the store. The customer's contract is with Best Buy, not FedEx; therefore, liability extends until the product reaches the customer. I recorded my conversation with the supervisor, and his dismissive attitude was the final straw. An individual who is unwilling to take accountability or validate a genuine claim is unfit for such a position. Upon my request, I was given the contact information for the General Manager, Josue Nunez, who will also be involved. I urge all customers who are cheated by Best Buy and have been harrassed by their system to file formal complaints. That is the only way make these corporates care about the customers.

got to the Everett location at 5:15pm left location at 5:52... could not get an employee to help me.... also it was not busy POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I went there to see if they could install Windows 11 on my MS Surface laptop. The young guy at the Geek corner was very kind and helpful. He asked me some questions and checked the info on my laptop and said that because of some issues with my surface’s processor, I couldn’t get the Windows 11 installed on it. The processor was attached to the motherboard and it couldn’t be replaced, was my understanding. I like the store anyway, prices are lower compared to some other stores.

Staff are helpful when there are enough of them around. Easy to return items. Always a good sale, especially on the previous seasonal items. Always nice fake flowers on sale. When it comes to price and quality, I say shop here for fake plants rather than at Dollar Tree.
