They sold us a faulty laptop and then tried to charge us $80 to try to repair it (even though we paid for the 24 month protection plan). Don’t waste your money here. Instead go to Microcenter or anywhere else where they might actually back up their products

Best Buy Trade-In Experience I had a very disappointing experience with Best Buy’s trade-in program. I sent in my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra expecting to receive a promotional trade-in value of up to $500. My device had no screen damage, only minor damage on the back of the phone. However, after inspection, Best Buy classified my phone as having a “broken screen”, which is incorrect. Because of this, they completely removed the promotional value and reduced my trade-in offer from $75 to just $18.75. When I asked for clarification and requested proof (such as photos), they stated they could not provide any images and refused to reconsider the evaluation. This process feels very unfair and lacks transparency: No proof of the claimed damage No opportunity to dispute the inspection Massive reduction in value based on questionable assessment At this point, I chose to cancel the trade-in and request my device back. I would strongly recommend others to be cautious when using Best Buy’s trade-in program, especially if you are relying on promotional offers. The final value can change drastically, and there is little to no accountability in the inspection process.
