had a very disappointing experience at Best Buy while trying to activate gift cards to use toward a purchase. The associate assisting me, Caleb, appeared to become impatient during the transaction and called another employee to take over.
What was especially concerning was that, while handing off the transaction, Caleb referred to my gift cards as “some cards or some shit” in front of me. I found this language highly unprofessional and inappropriate for a customer service environment.
I understand that transactions involving gift cards can sometimes take extra time, but customers should be treated with respect and professionalism throughout the process. I hope management addresses this issue and reminds employees of the importance of maintaining professional communication when interacting with customers.
