I bought a dryer and the installers said I did not need the cord or the exhaust/vent tubing I purchased with it. They suggested I return the items. I have a healthy purchase history with Best Buy. The Leominster, MA store refused to take the cord and exhaust back (Dryer: $530, Vent Kit: $29.99, Generic cord: $34.99. I asked for a manager who was unhelpful and just basically stood there with nothing to offer. Goodbye Best Buy, Hello Costco.

Please clarify your return policy at Leominster Best Buy. I called CS to check on the Return Policy of BB. First, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then disconnected. I called back and this time (after waiting another 10 minutes on hold), I was told that I could not return the TV (unopened) to their store because it had been shipped. I was told by this CS agent that "If it was delivered by UPS, then it has to be returned by UPS". ?? Therefore, I could not return the BB TV to their store! I'd never heard of this and told this CS that the Best Buy website states that "online purchases can be returned to any store". They continued to argue about it, so I called another BB and was quickly assured that I could bring back the TV, which I did, no questions or problems. Something very wrong with CS at Leominster for a customer to be told that online purchases can not be returned. ;/
