My friend Lori and I often meet in Putnam since it’s a perfect halfway point for us. We’ve tried quite a few spots over time, but Broken Crust is one we’re still talking about.
We both ordered salads (I had the Italian Cut), and everything tasted incredibly fresh: simple, high-quality ingredients that that made it stand out. It was honestly so delicious.
Then we decided to split the one-pound meatball… and wow. Oh. My. God. It was amazing. It came with ricotta on the side and a couple slices of bread, and the combination was just next-level good.
The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable, which made it the perfect place for us to sit, relax, and really catch up - something we always look forward to. On top of that, the service was super fast and genuinely friendly.
Safe to say, we’ll absolutely be back
Terrible customer service. I called to speak to someone in the geek squad about getting pricing and she refused to help simply because I didn’t have an account. You would think they would want someone to open an account and instead she just made it so I wouldn’t. I rather go somewhere that values their customers.
