While the store may not have been busy, orders need to be processed by our system and undergo different steps including verification and authorization. A store does not always get an order once you place it, they only get an order once it has been processed in our system. That is, all the steps including the ones mentioned above are complete. If those steps are not complete our system will not be able to process the order and the store will never get it. Again, because there is a process the store may not see your order when you make the update and will still have to wait for the order to hit their system, which is not always instant and can range from few minutes to hours depending on the particular situation.
