Best Buy Attleboro

I went to Best Buy today to purchase a MacBook for my 14-year-old son for school. My son, my nephew, and I walked into the store and were greeted by an employee at the door, who asked if we were looking for anything specific. My son explained that we were there to purchase a MacBook, and the employee directed us toward the back of the store. As we walked toward the back, I heard the employee speak into his headset and say something along the lines of, “Paging someone to the back. There are a party of three Black individuals heading to the back.” I immediately turned around because I found the comment extremely rude and offensive. I told him that what he said was very inappropriate. Whether or not there was an innocent explanation, the way it was communicated made me and my family feel singled out and uncomfortable. Honestly, after that experience, I did not want to spend my money at Best Buy. The only reason I continued with the purchase was because my son was excited about getting his laptop for school, and I did not want his experience to be affected by what happened. This experience has definitely made me question whether I would return to this location in the future. Customers should be made to feel welcomed and respected when they walk into a store, and unfortunately, that was not how I felt today.

Went there today 8.9.26, I'll be honest not happy with their service at all, we were looking for a new Iphone to purchase, waited a while before someone came over and said will send someone shortly, only for that person to help someone else who just came in 15 minutes after us, instead of asking who was here first, and then we ask about if we could do a new phone set transfer data and sim card, they responded sure we can help with that, the person they assigned us maybe wasnt fully aware of our request, proceeded to ring us out, and we mentioned what about the set up for new phone, sorry sir we don't do that here, well they just help me do that at another bestbuy on Thursday, and they did it without issue, still have a long way to go Attleboro location! Your customer service is not good, one of if not the worst purchase experiences lately, I don't recommend this Besybuy store.
