Short: don’t order online for store pick ups
Long: After placing an online order, on Dec at 8:45pm, I arrived to pick up my SSD. At the door I was greeted by 4 staff members who were chatting and joking. When I got to customer service desk, there were 4 people waiting in line to pick up their items and not a single person behind the desk. After 5-7 min, I noticed the laud laughter from the front of the store, there were more staff members gathering and chatting and laughing. Still no staff behind customer service desk (returns and online order pick ups) and the line has grown to 8 people waiting. Then someone shows up, quickly address several customers in front of me. But when it comes to my item, someone just scanned it, after 20 minutes of waiting, I finally got my item. Total waisted time 45 minutes. I could have walked in, picked up an item from the shelf, paid and walked out in less than 4 minutes, what possessed me to place my order online? Anywho, BestBuy is driving online/offline business, but their stores don’t want to adjust to fit online / offline business model.

Called today to schedule dash cam appointment. The rep kept on hold for 15 min. Then picked up the phone and cut the call. Never had such experience in any bestbuy.

Bad experience with GeekSquad. Purchased extended warranty. Scheduled an appointment for a repair. Waited for a week. No one showed up for the appointment. After 4 calls, finally got to someone at ServiceQuick, which apparently is the company that actually does the service - even though BestBuy confirmed the appointment and service window, ServiceQuick never had that appointment scheduled. Let's see what happens next - feels like this is just the beginning of the story. But not a pleasant one! EDIT: @Ravi: if you provide email address of phone number, I will reach out. I am not going to use social media platforms for this purpose.
