Purchased a new item online and they gave me an open box item without informing me. Did curbside pickup so of course I didn’t notice until I got home. 2.5 hours dealing with Best Buy and the best they can do is have me come in and exchange it, rather than give me an open box price or a small store credit. I live a good bit away so it’s super inconvenient to go back and exchange it. Next time I’m going to purchase from a retailer who won’t give me an open box item when I purchased it new.

I went to BB to buy an external hard drive. It was a busy time at the store with multiple customers and sales persons around the MacBook display. I walked around trying to locate the drives I had seen 2-3 days earlier. When I couldn’t locate them, I looked for a sales person. In minutes I found a young gentleman who helped me locate them after some looking. The case was locked & quickly a manager came to unlock the case, some confusion, and another sales person came & helped. The three of them were very accommodating. My sales person then answered all my questions and consulted with other sales persons when necessary. Despite the display having been newly set up in the last few days, I received quick, knowledgeable service delivered professionally. I left the store feeling thankful.
