I had a disappointing service at Best Buy (BB) for sending my Mac to Apple Store. First time I gave my laptop under Apple care for Broken screen repair ($99 deductible) but BB informed that apple care found additional damages and asked for another $200. I didn’t approve it and they sent the device back. Later, received call from BB saying the additional $200 is for replacement with new device. June 19, I paid for whole unit replacement but after 1 week, i received the old laptop repaired. I specifically mentioned during the intake that I am not ready to spend for repair and if they can’t replace they can send my device back. Now BB team is asking me I need to speak with Apple care and they can’t help with anything. the worst part is even after scheduling the call back from the store manager, I haven’t heard back even after 48hrs. The geek squad team Agent was highly unprofessional in answering any of the questions/support I requested. She mentioned I will get the same response from the manager too. Three times I had to go to store for this issue and my case is not yet resolved. Being a BB member or having Apple care plan seems not helpful. I had to spend time to reach Apple care and learnt BB note to Apple didn’t have any information about the replacement request but the work order/intake note given to me has this info. So it’s BB agent didn’t put that in Apple system request, according to apple care. Not coming to BB anymore.

Can't even call to ask a question. I tried, and all I got was a AI voice telling me it couldn't help me. And to add insult to insult they're going to respond to this with another chatbot telling me to tweet them or something.

I'd like to counter a recent negative review left by a one "Slayyedby Reero"(?) - I was actually in line and witnessed the entire situation. The woman in question arrived late for her appointment, and the staff did everything they could to assist, despite the woman becoming increasingly loud and rude to the staff. I cannot STAND people who don't respect others time and claim the world is out to get them 🙄 get a life Miss Slayyed By Whatever, and maybe gain some accountability while you're at it. This store is wonderful along with all the supportive staff within it. Don't let nasty people like her bring your hardworking employees down!
