I’ve shopped at the Best Buy in Frederick a few times over the past year and overall, it’s a solid store. The place is clean and well-organized, which makes it easy to find what you’re looking for without wandering around aimlessly. The layout is typical of most Best Buys, and they usually have a decent selection of electronics, appliances, and accessories.
Customer service is generally helpful. Most of the staff I’ve interacted with try to answer questions or point you in the right direction. They seem willing to assist, and I haven’t had any major issues when needing help with something.
One of the best parts of this location is that they sometimes have good sales or open-box items that are actually worth buying. If you check often or get lucky, you can find high-quality gear for significantly less than retail, which is a nice bonus.
Big shout out to Carl at Best Buy in Frederick for working with me on exchanging printers, picking out the "correct" printer, and getting me through Best Buy credit stuff. Appreciate you!
Want a store that models incompetence- shop HERE. Went to purchase some goods for an install (Netgear Infrastructure) apparently if you don't return within 14 days they can't reimburse you. None of the underage staff can help you. So disappointing. We will take all business elsewhere in future.
Went in to get the back glass replaced on an iPhone via at Geek Squad. They needed to order a part (not a problem) and I went back in for it to be fixed 3 days later. After dropping it off, fixing it took 2 hours longer than they said it would and the scuffed up all of the metal on the outside of the iPhone. People were friendly which is why I am giving it an extra star, but the iPhone is practically in worse shape than when I brought it in.
