Extremely Disappointed with the Service and Lack of Communication
I would not recommend doing business with this Best Buy, especially for AppleCare services. I scheduled a battery replacement appointment on two separate occasions, and both experiences were disappointing.
For the first appointment, I arrived ten minutes early to allow time for any necessary paperwork. I was told to have a seat and wait for a technician. I waited for over thirty minutes without anyone checking in or asking why I was there. When someone finally spoke to me, I explained I had an appointment for a battery replacement. Without even examining my phone or asking any follow-up questions, the employee told me they could not complete the service because the phone had iCloud or theft protection enabled. I was told to return the next day once the setting was removed.
I returned the next day, again arriving early. This time, a Geek Squad member immediately told me they would not be able to help because the technician was not available. No one had reached out to cancel or reschedule, even though they must have known earlier in the day that the technician would not be there.
I rearranged my schedule twice and was turned away both times without any solution. This kind of poor service and lack of communication is simply unacceptable. I expected a much more professional experience.
Geek squad staff is really good
Good basic tacos and burritos. Only complaint is having to place my order through a kiosk instead of someone taking my order
The guy who randomly picked to answer ONE single question was the biggest creep I've ever personally seen. I was with my young adult daughter and he was clearly interested in her without knowing her actual age.
The guy kept asking us if we were interested in random stuff we hadn't even bothered to ask him for. It was kind of creepy and definitely a reason I wouldn't come back here or bring children here.
This review mostly reflects on the person that "assisted" us and not necessarily the store itself.
