Ordered the new Fortnite gift card over the phone. Was assured I would be emailed the code…Day later still no email/code. Would not suggest making the same mistake I made by ordering digitally.

I went to Best Buy today (I live about 40 minutes away) to purchase the Asus Rog Strix XG27UCDMG monitor because they don't stock it but happened to have a Excellent condition open box one available. It was about $150 off original price so I paid about $850 for it. Once I got home after running some errands I got in the process of setting it up only to realize the power supply was missing. I called the phone number to the store only to get transferred to the call center. I asked to speak to the store directly and they told me the store was experiencing high call volume ( it is a lie) and it would be about two hours before someone could answer. So I explained to the person on the phone my issue and they advised me to return it to the store for "compensation". So I decided because I had no other day this week to return it to take the trec back to the store. When I got there 2 nice individuals working behind the desk after I told them what was going on had to call the manager. I waited about 15 for this guy to show up. I explained him the situation and he told me all he can do is give me 10 percent off or I can return it. I asked what could do about the power supply and he said to call Asus and get the correct one for it. So basically he was giving me about $80 for time. I asked if now the condition is missing a part and it would be under the "good but missing parts"? He said he doesn't know and Geek Squad makes that decision. I said so it would only be marked down 10 percent? He said he doesn't know. I ended up returning the monitor, lost out on a part of my day because they incorrectly labed the open box. The only compensation was to be given a $80 discount and the hassle of dealing with Asus myself that would have probably cost a decent amount of money for a new power supply or leave with nothing. Complete BS I buy a lot from this company and the customer service is terrible. I will just give my business to Amazon and Newegg from now on.

My husband likes the best buy. We just look around this time. 🙂 And I don't remember what he was looking for when we went here. 😂 But when it comes to computers, other gadgets or electronics you can visit their store.
