I initially gave a one-star rating, but I am updating it to five stars thanks to one exceptional individual: (Pre). We contacted him via Instagram, and he was the only person who took full responsibility for my issue and handled it with complete professionalism. He did not ignore my complaint and made every effort to ensure the problem was resolved properly—something I did not experience with customer service representatives or with an employee named Jacob from the Geek Squad team at the Madison Heights, Michigan branch. Based on my experience, Jacob was unhelpful throughout the process. The issue with my device remained unresolved, yet I was informed that if I did not pick it up, it would be sent to the disposal department, despite the fact that the problem had not been fixed. He assured me that he would speak with his supervisors and follow up with me regarding a solution. However, I never received any updates, follow-up calls, or communication from him, which made the situation even more frustrating and disappointing. Because of this experience, I truly hope that Best Buy makes significant improvements in selecting, training, and monitoring its customer service staff, especially those who deal directly with customers. High-quality service is crucial for maintaining the company’s reputation and ensuring customers feel heard and respected. My deepest appreciation goes to Pre , whose professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine willingness to help truly stood out. He addressed the issue efficiently, communicated clearly, and did not ignore the complaint as others had. Thanks to his dedication and support, the problem was finally resolved.
