Can't call the Madison hts store & I'm a half mile away.! Insane you must not want my business, if your gonna take my money you need to take my calls. Will look elsewhere for my electronic needs

I purchased a Surface Pro laptop from Best Buy along with the **My Best Buy Total membership** for **$179.99**, expecting it to cover repairs and provide better service. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing.
My laptop’s keyboard broke, so I went back to Best Buy for help. Their customer service was **terrible** and full of **hidden fees**. They charged me **$79 just to send the keyboard to their repair department**, even though I already pay for the My Best Buy Total membership — which is supposed to include these kinds of services.
To make things worse, I could buy a brand-new keyboard on Amazon for about **$100**, so the membership brought me no real value. Honestly, this membership feels **useless**. **Costco’s membership and customer service are a thousand times better**.
The worst part? They **took my laptop** and said it would take **3 to 4 weeks** to return it. What am I supposed to do in the meantime — just stay without a laptop? This is unacceptable.
Today is **August 11, 2025**, and I’ve sent the laptop back. Let’s see what they do, but so far, **I absolutely do not recommend Best Buy**. After this bad experience, I’ll never buy from them again.
