Tried returning an item purchased online. Return shows shipping or in store. Employee didn’t seem willing to assist and just said they can’t even do it in store.

I just spent 50 minutes talking to VAs trying to get through to the store only to find out the store doesn’t have a phone to answer! All I need is an installation price that the first VA from online Geek Squad said I need to get from the store. He gave me an extension to bypass to AI assistant that put me through to the online Geek Squad and direction to wait two minutes before calling back. I did as directed, but the AI assistant said it was not a valid extension. The AI assistant became frustrated with me and repeatedly told me to Please try again. Then put me through to another VA who told me she could put me through to the Home Service Department at the store, but apparently my phone number was not associated with my name. Apparently, I needed a Best Buy account to talk to someone, so after repeatedly being told that the last person who had my phone number had the account, she finally created an account in my name and then transferred me to the store. Except, it was not the store. It was the Home Service Department online, who finally advised me that the reason I was transferred to her is because the store doesn’t have a phone to answer. All she could do was transfer my call again to the Geek Squad online, who couldn’t help me in the first place. It should not be this difficult to get a price for installation. I shouldn’t have to drive to the store to get a price. How disappointing.

Yesterday I had worse experience here.Once I purchased my phone charger I ask same guy to keeping it charging .because it was 0 battery 🪫.So he did it .All the time there was one service helping person he looks Asian .So in 20 minutes once i ask my phone back that Asian guy who was all the time around us keep asking questions look like I am asking their charger and phone.it was inappropriate situation then he call manager he also little wired took longer times to verify it.Homestly nothing to verify once he logged in my best buy account he can see history but manager he keep asking my bank cards and so many questions... UnKnowledge people... please respect costomers and don't be sleepy looks what is going on around you.that way no need to give uncomfortable feelings to costomers..and be study how do fast service without interrupting
