Placed a pre-order for borderlands 4 several months in advance, when I arrived to pick up my item I was told they sent it to another store because the other store ran out.
When I reached out for support on x (formerly twitter) I was informed it was actually my fault because they "sent me multiple emails saying my pre-order won't be ready due to the manufacturer"
Total BS, this isn't what the person behind the counter told me and this is not what his manager told him.
