This is an average Best Buy location, but I’m leaving a 3/5 due to a recent frustrating experience. Best Buy (or at least this location) does not honor sale pricing when exchanging wearables for a different size, even when exchanging for the exact same item. This wasn’t clearly communicated on Best Buy’s website, which made the situation disappointing.
The management explained that honoring the sale price would impact their bottom line, but from a customer perspective, paying an additional $160 just to exchange for the same item in a different size felt unreasonable. I also felt dismissed during the interaction, as there didn’t seem to be any willingness to discuss alternatives or compromise, which left me leaving the store feeling discouraged. Better clarity around exchange policies on wearables would help avoid situations like this in the future.
