I had a very uncomfortable experience at Best Buy today. I went to the store because I was considering buying a MacBook and wanted to look around first. When I entered, the employee sitting at the door asked what brought me in. I politely said I was just looking around. His response was “that’s crazy,” which felt rude and dismissive.
Physical stores exist so customers can browse products and decide what they want to buy, especially for expensive items like laptops. Being spoken to that way made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, so I left the store immediately.
I hope management addresses this kind of behavior, because no customer should feel discouraged from simply browsing.

I had an outstanding experience buying my new TV at Best Buy in Southfield, Michigan. Zac, the manager, and Nevaeh (I’m probably spelling her name incorrectly) but they were both incredible. Zac went above and beyond to get me a great price—he made the whole process quick, easy, and truly painless. Nevaeh was also super helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this store and these two amazing team members! I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone to shop here.
