I’m not one to write reviews, and I’ve never had an issue with the Utica location of Best Buy—until what I witnessed yesterday.
While I was in the store, I overheard what appeared to be a young employee directing multiple inappropriate slurs toward an elderly man. It wasn’t just a one-off comment—it was repeated and clearly disrespectful. The situation was uncomfortable to witness, and honestly, upsetting.
No customer—especially someone older—should ever be spoken to that way. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable sending elderly family members into this store. I really hope management takes situations like this seriously and ensures all customers are treated with basic respect.

I purchased a new HP laptop in December 2025 and am also a Geek Squad Member. I had all my information transferred to my new computer. Upon picking up my device, the tech ABBY BOLLEY was there to assist me. She was the best and so knowledgeable and patient on getting everything to run smoothly. But most of all She was able to get my business outlook account to send and accept emails! I have tried for 3 years calling Geek Squad customer techs to resolve this issue and NOBODY could figure it out except for Abby Bolley. Sometimes you have to take your device into the store rather than talking to reps over in India.
I give her a 10 star rating!
