Best Buy is always my preferred go-to when other options exist for purchasing products. The number of times they have helped me out or made exceptions when things are technically out of warranty are completely worth the Total Tech Membership worth the cost.
I do wish they had Target-like Circle debit card option for 5% cash back; but the Total Tech membership is a great alternative. You’re basically paying for exclusivity but it’s so worth it.
Bottom line: Any purchase of significance I need to make, Best Buy always gets my business over Target, Amazon, Walmart, etc all day.
This is just a shell of a store. Nobody inside really knows what's going on, they are mostly just picking pickup orders. I went for an open box item, nobody knew where those were and just told me to go to a "tablet thing in the back". When they got it from back and scanned it, online showed ~$20 cheaper than the price they scanned it for. I showed it and talked to a manager. Instead of honoring the online price they gave me some bs answer about different stock, etc. So I bought the item online right there for the cheaper price for pickup but they said it couldn't be fulfilled until tomorrow.
Surprise surprise I come back the next day and pickup the same item (same LPN) for the price online.
Absolutely backwards customer service and obviously just want to suck out every last penny they can with minimal service. Best buy used to be about knowledgeable staff and customer service, but that seems to be far in the past
