This originally was a great experience! I found the salespeople to be attentive and answered the questions I had. I decided to pick up my dryer myself and that whole process was very smooth. The problem came later. Due to my laundry room being remodeled, I was not able to use my dryer until 21 days after purchase. The first time that I used it, a grinding sound came from the back of the drum. I immediately stopped the cycle. I contacted Best Buy customer support the next day and they said there’s nothing they can do because it’s 14 days past the purchase date unless I want to purchase a plan. 3 weeks from purchase and Best Buy doesn’t stand by their products. I was told by the salesman that the products were backed for 1 year AND that all the products were tested before they went to the outlet floor. Clearly he was misinformed or just straight lied to me. I now have 2 toddlers and no dryer. Money is tight, hence why I went to the outlet. And Best Buy still stole money from me. I am a proud Minnesotan, and always support MN companies first. That being said, I will never spend one more dollar at Best Buy. Clearly they have no ethics and don’t care that they ripped off a working class family.
