Tonight I received fantastic service from Pedro, Sammy and the “TV team” in addition to management. It was not an expected purchase but one that had to be made very quickly for my father, and due to circumstances surrounding that, it wasn’t a typical (or easy) purchase for me. I was quite emotional walking into the store, but Pedro and the team were fantastic to work with: I was greeted immediately, helped immediately, and the tone was one of absolute kindness and empathy. They were Absolutely delightful. Pedro and Sammy — thank you for being so kind on an otherwise difficult day. I rate the staff and service as 10/10, if not more.

Went to look at appliances this week, and all I saw was workers on their phones, not even asking me if I needed any help, and when I did ask a question, all I got were eye rolls and sighs like the workers didn't want to be there.

Last week I went to Best Buy to take advantage of their trade-in program, and I honestly had no idea this was even an option until I looked online. To my surprise, I had a laptop sitting around that I hadn’t used in over a year, and it was still basically brand new. Since I wanted to upgrade, I brought it into Best Buy for an inspection. After they checked it out, I received a $200 gift card toward future purchases. Even though I lost some money compared to what I originally paid, I still think this is one of the best programs a company can offer. It was quick, convenient, and gave me value for something I no longer used.

Unfortunately I don’t know which store to post to since I ordered online…however, I made a purchase of almost $4500 through Best Buy in November. $1900 of it was for a washer and dryer that was on sale for Black Friday. I tried for nearly 2 months to get a time set up for delivery with no luck, even had a day set and they cancelled last minute. One day in January, I get an email that the order was cancelled and my money was refunded. I contacted Best Buy who told me that their supplier was out of stock now of my machines. I let them know when I look online, it says in stock in all their stores. they informed me that it doesn’t matter that Best Buy themselves had the product, the supplier that they use for picking up online orders didn’t, so they cancelled without notice. Such a joke. I’ve purchased thousands of dollars worth of appliances through Best Buy in the past, but they don’t care. They have absolutely zero concept of what good customer service is. I couldn’t even get a supervisor to call me back. Fast forward now to May and for Memorial Day, Home Depot ran the same sale. I purchased the same washer and dryer for the same sale price on Monday, and today, Thursday, it was delivered, installed and my old machines hauled away. I will never use Best Buy again for any major purchases.
