Went in to get a Chromebook that I saw on their website. I did my research on it and after taking to several people who had one, decided to purchase it. Went to check out and the gal working asked if I wanted the extended warranty. I said no, just wanted to buy it. She then tried to sell me Microsoft office. I said no Thank,I just wanted to buy the Chromebook. She then said that it doesn't have any anti- virus protection on it and I needed to get one. This is a complete lie since it states on the manufacturers website that it comes with it pre - installed
I was now at the point where I was ready to walk out and go elsewhere
I said this sounds a lot like a timeshare pitch and I don't need anything but the Chromebook and would she please ring it up. She did but without a fin as l comment that she really likes her job. This occurred at the Rochester Mn Best Buy on Wednesday May 20th. I will not be going back there again. She must have thought that since I had gray hair that I was computer stupid but the fact is ,I have worked with computers for over 30 years.
We were helped by Stephen Austin buying a new phone and he made the process amazing. His customer service was amazing, so funny and friendly. We had gone to the actual Verizon store before and it was complicated and confusing, Stephan made the entire process smooth and easy. Yall give this guy a raise, 10/10 experience!
They are nice helpful and they will always will be the best
