I bought an open box laptop which was apparently a store display and only minor scratches.I drove 3 hours one way to pickup, reeached at 7:30 pm, store closes at 8 pm. The employees looked annoyed, went to the counter, asked for phone no. Gave me a laptop and a charger, I asked to check it out, they let me turn it on, I asked if it could be plugged in, ignored my request and though there were 2 employees and an empty store this guy started talking go another customer, whom he did not help either 😑 and then handed me a plastic bag. I just had no energy to ask to check the charging, should have. GUESS WHAT-THEY GAVE ME A LAPTOP WHICH DOES NOT CHARGE, I TRIED USING A USB-C charger ofmy own and it still doesnt charge. This should be fraud. I lost 40$ of gas and am without a laptop, of course will return to our local best buy, but I hopesomeonefrom corporate can straighter this out. All I can say is would not trust best buy open box and hope these employees get some customer service education, before theh end up closing this store.
Crazy! Went in to upgrade to an IPhone 16 Pro and was told they have to charge a $40 transfer fee. I asked for the manager and was informed the manager is at lunch at 1:40pm in the afternoon. Disappointed.
