No one's there and it feels like a dent and ding store
I had the worst experience at this Best Buy Bridgeton Outlet. Last night we were trying to buy a stove, that was ticketed as in excellent condition. After looking closely, we noticed two dents and two scratches. We asked an associate, which was trying to be very helpful, about a further discount, since it had some flaws. He stated the computer system was down, but would try to get it lowered. We were there until after 5:30, which they close at 6:00, but he was unable to help. He would have it taken care of the next morning.
I returned the following day to see it listed as fair, instead of excellent, but also an increase in price of over $1,000. They were unable to match or lower the original price. I was told the price was adjusted the day before to the higher price around 3:15pm. I stated that I was still there until 5:30 and was told I would have to wait until the next morning. I asked the management, who I could talk to above them, but was told it was out of their hands. Corporate was in control of pricing. I did not get a number or name of anyone to talk to above local management.
I had said a cuss word, in my rant of displeasure and was told to stop cussing. I stated that it was not directed at you, because it was not. He proceeded to talk to me as if I were a child, being disciplined. I then cussed at him and he asked me to leave. Before I left he stated “ does that make you a big man”. I was told that I was no longer welcome at this location.
To summarize, I was wrong for cussing, but I did not get the service I requested from management or a professional response.
If this is how they do business, then my suggestion would to spend your money elsewhere. Thank you for reading.
