I just purchased a new apple phone yesterday with their in store Verizon rep. told me my old smartphone would be applied to the purchase of my new phone. All I had to do was log in to my verizon account and go to trade ins. However, he has removed my old device from under my account! When i go to enter a new device trade in it only says it will give me 83.00 and not the 830.00 that the in store rep told me. Don't use this store go to a real verizon store.
Update: Since I last wrote I've been on the phone with Verizon who informed me that the Verizon Rep at Best Buy was not honest with me. He told me that my trade in would give me a 830.00 credit on my account, however that is not true. The Verizon customer service person that I spoke with said that my phone is not eligible for that deal. I would never have purchased the phone, from Best Buy, with this information. On top of all this I had to pay a 45.00 restocking fee. Don't go to this establishment, dishonest people.
