Nothing against this PHYSICAL location. Moreso for Meil, the guy you speak to when calling in. Apparently, Best Buy doesn’t want you talking to their in store employees, (as if they get enough traffic to warrant not answering the phone) they want you speaking to someone not in the store, doesn’t know for sure if what you’re looking for is there and doesn’t adhere to a supervisor.
He was dismissive, aloof and most of all, patristic. I don’t know how many times you need to repeat the same thing. It feels like he was reciting lines from a script. Also, this doesn’t make sense that Meil, adheres to and can’t transfer a customer to, a manager. If I have a bad interaction or if Meil decides to slack off or curse at someone on a recorded call, who is to hold him accountable? Troubling times.
This corporation literally will funnel you to an AI (which now lets me talk to a human, so thanks) and then, funnel you to someone OUTSIDE OF THE LOCATION.
The whole point of putting a location on a plot as a brick and mortar is to get people in. But you guys would rather people buy online and get things shipped. Maybe I like walking in the store to enjoy a face to face interaction.
MAYBE your consumers would like to speak with a human. Yes it is not as efficient, but it will boost your CLV.
Today I had a huge problem with my experience with Meil. He just wanted me off the phone, he treated me like a number, rather than a person and makes me question whether or not I want to continue shopping with Best Buy.
