Helpfull Staff. Bought Sony 1000 XM5 or something.
I am sad that I had to give this rating. I think that Best Buy is a great store and has been consistently striving to great customer service.
This rating is for an online order not in store.
I ordered a Soundcore Space One headphone. No issues with ordering. Received communications when order was placed and when it was actually being delivered.
On delivery day it showed item was on the truck and the time it would be delivered. Then an hour before delivery the text said, "the order was canceled." I went online and there was a message the ordered was delay. I called and the representative stated there was a technical issue and the seller canceled the order. To date no one has stated what the technical difficulty was.
I had to ask but was given 10% credit and a redelivery message. That date came with no item. I called again and was told that Best Buy could only give a refund. Had I not called Id still be waiting for a delivery per the messages I was being sent.
I asked if there was anything further that could be done for the inconvenience, they said no, but I could call another department. I called that department and the representative there said the redelivery was approved and pending.
Long story longer, there was an unprofessional lack of communication with the seller to Best Buy. Also an obviously miscommunication within Best Buy.
I repurchase the item at the original dale price but opted to pick it up than risk going through a non delivery again.
Very disappointed in how it was all handled. Although I still repurchase the headphones not knowing what the initial technical issue was made me a bit hesitant on this brand. I will continue to use it and hope that it works as the reviews and specifications state.
Best Buy to me a 4-5 star business but this order deserved and earned only two stars for multiple inconveniences to the customer.
