Over the weekend, my wife was visiting family out of town. Her phone fell off the top of her car and was run over multiple times. (Note: transporting your phone on top of a car is not recommended.) When my wife got back to town, we went to the local Best Buy to get a replacement phone. The folks that helped us were very helpful, as always! The store was out of the phone we wanted, so we had to pick it up at a nearby Best Buy store. It was a seamless process, and we were on the way home with the replacement phone.

Several years ago we purchased a washer and dryer from Best Buy. It was delivered and installed with no problems. The dryer eventually went bad and we decided a new dryer was needed. We purchased this dryer about two weeks ago. The day of installation came and the dryer was delivered. The technician that was doing the install stopped and told us that this dryer doesn't have the right cord, or the outlet isn't right. Keep in mind that about 5 years ago we had purchased a dryer from Best Buy and there was no issue. So now we have this new dryer that doesn't have the correct cord and Best Buy is refusing to fix the issue. Yet it wasn't an issue the previous time. What changed in the past 5 years that makes it impossible to install this dryer? The answer is nothing. Nothing has has changed except for Best Buys determination to be unhelpful. They sold us a dryer that won't work, according to them.
Its all good. I used to do this kind of work and we will get it fixed without Best Buy because Best Buy feels that customer service matters only until they actually have to do something. Rest assured I will not buy anything from them again.
If I could give a middle finger to Best Buy, I would.
