Title: Buyer Beware: Extremely Rigid 15-Day Return Policy
I am beyond disappointed with my experience at this Best Buy. I purchased a universal laptop charger that didn’t work for my needs, but because I live in a different state where the nearest Best Buy is over an hour and a half away, I couldn’t make it back immediately.
I attempted to return it today, January 17th, only to be told the cutoff was January 15th. I was shocked to find out Best Buy only has a 15-day return policy—one of the shortest in the industry. I explained my situation to the manager, whose name is Clayton, that I live out of state and was literally standing in the closest location to my home—and asked for a simple two-day exception. He refused.
Now I’m stuck with an expensive product I can’t use. This level of rigidity, especially for a loyal customer traveling from out of state, is unacceptable. If you shop here, be warned: check your receipt immediately and don't expect any grace if life gets in the way. It is most definitely "Buyer Beware."
Charles and Jay in the car stereo department are incredible. I bought a used Landcruiser, but the stereo system wasn't great, so I figured the speakers were blown. Charles essentially conducted a "deep dive" on my car and explained that I had $6K worth of high-end stereo equipment that was installed by the previuos owner; however, it was wired incorrectly. Charles wired it properly and it sounds INCREDIBLE and saved me about $4K. These gentlemen are honest and excellent at their craft. My goal is to send you all A LOT of business. Great job, seriously!
Manager OG is great 👍 👌 👏
Had a very positive experience today with Will at the pick up counter. Probably the most professional, friendly, and outgoing sales associate I have encountered at Best Buy in my years.
He deserves recognition as employee of the month and perhaps a promotion.
