I purchased a Google Nest Cam Indoor/Outdoor Wire Free from Best Buy 2-pack for $259. AVOID this Google product! Battery for Google camera only lasted 7 DAYS! Two different Best Buy sales people told me the Google camera battery would give me approximately 6 months with a short recharge. The Google camera battery lasted only 7 days. I installed the Google camera over my driveway, and set “motion" to only detect “vehicles" and “people." Best Buy won’t let me return this product after 15 days from purchase, so I’m stuck with this junk (it sat in the box a week before I was able to install). Best Buy and Google should be ashamed of this pathetic product. I can’t believe anyone at Google (or Best Buy, for that matter) would put a stamp of approval on this product. I will never buy a Google camera product again, their batteries can’t be trusted. Based on Best Buy’s terrible sales advice and return policy on such a terrible product, I don’t know that I could ever trust purchasing from Best Buy again. I am so disappointed that I spent that much money at Best Buy's recommendation on such junk from Google. AVOID! ADDED AFTER OWNER'S "MELISSA'S" RESPONSE: I have already contacted Best Buy with all of this information including receipt info and Best Buy number. I was told since it was past 15 days there was nothing Best Buy would do for me and that I had to contact Google. The Representative did not have any direct contact information for me for Google camera issues, said I had to Google it. I'm not on Twitter or Instagram. Is there a phone number I can call that will provide more of a response than my previous call?

The customer service at this location was TERRIBLE! Their attitudes - my goodness! Every person in that store except one was non-chalant, “I’d rather talk to my coworker rather than help you”, “please don’t ask me to help you” kind of faces and attitudes. Someone had warned me that the customer experience at Best Buy, in general, had greatly declined, but I went anyway because I’d had many great experiences in the past and because I wanted to use the trade-in experience, but now they’ve lost a customer. The experience was so bad that I took back my second trade in and would have taken back my first had it not been completed. Best Buy is on same path as Circuit City. Go shop at Amazon - everything about your experience will be better.
