I don’t typically review big box stores, nor am I a big fan of Best Buy.
However.
I went to this Best Buy looking for a new digital device. I was comfortably greeted by Ian. Dude was solid. Kind, knowledgeable and held a good conversation.

I am sadly writing this review after wasting several hours of my time trying to fix something. The customer service has been terrible. I was told something on my account was going to be fixed by 2 different CSR and when I followed up to see it had not been fixed I was told it was not something that could be done. Too bad. I was then told (on chat) I was going to have a supervisor to speak to whick after well over an hour never joined the chat I decided to call. I had to go through the entire thing AGAIN with another CSR even after I asked in the beginning and told him why I wanted to go straight to a supervisor. After another 20 min on the phone he told me there were no supervisors and I had to call back in 2 hours to speak to one. I told him no, I would like one now and he hung up on me.
SHAME ON YOU BEST BUY.

I received excellent service at the Best Buy Geek Squad. Shawn went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of after an Operating System failure on my work laptop. I was in panic mode when I walked in the store - he quickly helped me even after realizing that I made the Geek Squad appt. For the next day! I was there a day early - He sat down with me and helped me search for and order the exact laptop I needed then after getting the laptop a day early he took care of helping me set up the new laptop to do a data transfer and even helped me get my email set up. What an awesome guy I hope Best Buy knows what a great employee they have working for them.
