I had a really disappointing experience at Best Buy today while trying to find a simple flash drive. I asked for help from a couple of employees, and instead of offering any real assistance, they came off as rude, dismissive, and frankly, judgmental. I was first pointed to the entirely wrong section. One employee acted like I was bothering them just by asking a basic question, and the other was obviously judging my lack of knowledge on storage and compatibility. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I came in ready to buy, but after that kind of treatment, I walked out empty-handed. I don’t expect over-the-top service, but basic courtesy and respect shouldn’t be too much to ask. Customer service should be better taught and instructed at this location. Absolutely laughable how rude some of these employees are. Do better!

I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunately, I can't. I shop at this Best Buy location fairly often(Blakeney), but today’s experience was disappointing. I went in to ask the store manager about a display model printer. Having worked at Best Buy in the past, I know that store managers can authorize the sale of display models as open-box items if they’re no longer needed on the floor. When I arrived, I asked an employee named Jada if the store manager or floor lead could meet me by the printer section so I could speak with them directly. While waiting, another associate approached and asked if he could help. I explained the situation to him, but he seemed confused. Shortly after, Jada came over. I explained the same thing to her, and she immediately told me that Best Buy never sells display models and claimed that she was the store manager. I found this surprising and honestly disappointing—her tone and response didn’t reflect someone who’s motivated to help customers or make sales. From my own experience, I knew this wasn’t true, and I ended up calling her a liar out of frustration before leaving the store. As I was walking out, I asked two other associates if Jada was actually the store manager—they informed me that she was not. I then called Best Buy customer service and filed an official complaint. Ironically, as I was driving out of the parking lot, I saw the real store manager and briefly spoke with them. They confirmed that display models are now typically sent to outlet locations to be sold. Why Jada couldn’t have just explained that from the start is beyond me. Do better, Jada.
