We have a corporate account with BB & over the years we’ve’ given them thousands of dollar worth of business. Unfortunately I had the worst customer service experience today by their geek squad Manager who was not only rude and arrogant but extremely mannerless in how he communicated with me. In my opinion such people should not be on floor dealing with established customers as their behaviors can cause loss of business for BB .Obviously after experiencing such bad behavior from the Manager I had to call the corporate office and express my concerns (which I did ) . I am glad the General Manager stepped in and apologized on behalf of his geek squad manager . Unfortunately , going forward we will refrain from doing much business with BB , instead we will now be open to other home & appliance store in & around charlotte area . Sadly , they did lose the business for which I was there today ( to buy Bosch 800 series dishwasher & Fisher &Paykel DishDrawer)
You are better off going to the manufacturer to buy a computer. The service center will literally tell you they can’t help you that you need to go to another store than book you an appointment for the same store… good luck calling customer service. They’re just as useless. That extended warranty you paid over $200 for? Doesn’t mean anything. Worst customer service I’ve ever came across. Trying to get help with further customer service… ha good luck they can’t even get in contact with geek squad themselves! One month and one day the computer crashed and they’re basically like sucks for you... For a company as big as Best Buy you would think they had some common sense or empathy. Byron in geek squad clearly has other issues going on and couldn’t care less about DECENT customer service. Do yourself a favor and get rid of that cranky man. DO NOT BUY ANY EXPENSIVE PRODUCT FROM BEST-BUY UNLESS YOU WANT ISSUES THAT THEY WILL MAKE YOU GO AROUND IN CIRCLES JUST TO GET FIXED.
Thank you to Stephen, wadi, and Jenny for having such great customer service. We were able to upgrade our computer with confidence that we will now be in support I just guess it depends on who you talk to.

I came to Best Buy hoping they could help me find the right size for my laptop charger port since I had ordered one from Dell that ended up being too big. I wasn’t looking for a full replacement—just a smaller port that would fit my laptop. Unfortunately, when I spoke with customer service, I was told that because I didn’t buy the charger from Best Buy, I would have to purchase a whole new one instead of just getting the part I needed.
That didn’t make sense to me, especially considering how expensive these chargers are (as you can see in my pictures). I had already spent a lot ordering from Dell, and I wasn’t about to spend even more unnecessarily. Someone actually suggested I go to Best Buy for help, thinking they might work with me, but instead, it felt like just another way to push a sale rather than actually assist a customer.
I visited this location around 12:30 PM on Sunday, 3/30/25, and unfortunately, I left disappointed. If you’re in a similar situation, don’t expect much flexibility—they seem more focused on selling you something new rather than helping you find a solution.

Wow just wow Darnell provided excellent customer service skills. I thought he was manager. Darnell has calming demeanor. I will come back to Best Buy back to this location because Darnell is the best. Thank you Darnell keep up great work:)
