Honestly, it’s the typical Best Buy of these days. Young kids there to collect a pay check. There are few at any of the boxes anymore that have the drive the most employees did back when Brian Dunn was CEO. I walked through Home Theater and walked through on of the most profit margin driven areas in that dept and all the five employees did was stare at me from behind the counter. I think I got one smile, from an associate. I am in no way saying that any of them were rude just simply not engaged. The one employee I that actually helped when I was in a whole other department wasn’t even on the clock. He literally walked from the front of the store all the way to back to grab someone. Said I am sorry sir that you have waited so long, I grabbed someone for you. I watched him walked towards the front of the store say goodbye and walk out the door. Crazy. That kid super tall with glasses, I would be shocked if he wasn’t management and if he isn’t needs to be. Again, did I get what I came for yes. Was check out with the kids who rang me out good yes. Just things I noticed.

Furious with Best Buy right now. As my daughter's Christmas gift, I ordered a stereo and parts for installation on December 20 (an associate did this for me in store). Made appointment for December 24th to have it installed through Best Buy. Wouldn't you know one of the parts is delayed. Sadly, I had to cancel her installation appointment. Today, December 29th, is last day for pickup of everything else that arrived at store or else items will be auto canceled. Stereo cannot be installed without the delayed wire harness part. I live 1.5 hours from Best Buy and driving there to pick up some of the items would be a huge inconveniencefor me. Finally, after a 20 minute phone call and a lot of convincing, they agreed to hold the items for a period of time. I received no apology for the delay. Instead, his attitude was as if he did me a huge favor. I'm the customer and to me, delaying pickup until the radio could be installed and all parts at store was the fair thing to do. Should not have been a hassle. Period.
