Update: I purchased an open box refrigerator from this location on 4/19. Fridge was is amazing condition, Store manager & a sales associate assisted me the entire time, assured me the fridge would be delivered to SC on or before 05/24.
(I did not want to go this route with it being a holiday weekend - but this manager was persistent & adamant that the delivery would be of no issue, at multiple times throughout the sale).
This locations Manager needs to be held accountable for their actions, they were aware & have been reminded for the past month of the fact we will not have a refrigerator in our home until this was delivered.
This was for a major move I was making that the sales person & manager were very excited to hear about & seemed very invested.
Since that day I have not been able to contact the manager (or entire store location) only can communicate with customer service who cannot handle or provide any information. They just “make a note on your account” but everytime we call, there is no note.
We arrive at the Myrtle Beach location today just to hear that there is no way possible that an open box could be shipped from NC to SC. Additionally, the fridge was never moved.. today is 5/25.. after I purchased on 4/19.. & the only way to obtain ANY information was for me to walk into the Myrtle Beach location & be told that this was the work of an incompetent store manager.. & we were never notified of anything until we physically had to walk into a separate location, out of state.
I have been a member with Best Buy for years, purchased multiple laptops, dishwashers, & TV’s. Getting assistance for this issue has been experience full of gross negligence. I am currently still waiting for a supervisor to reach out to rectify the situation.
