Best Buy is a scam just like anyone else who tries to sell insurance plans. I paid $179.99 for Best Buy total membership. They raved about all the coverage and benefits it brought. Bought a TV and found out remote was defective. Tried getting a replacement and rep told me the good old “go to manufacturer” and that one must go to manufacturer first. Spent 4 hours texting and troubleshooting with Samsung only to find out they don’t replace because I bought it on sale.
Do yourself a favor… don’t get Best Buy total membership!! Scam!
