DO NOT purchase from Best Buy especially the one at Crabtree Mall.
I returned an iPhone and was denied a refund due to incorrect information on their end. Instead of resolving the issue, the store manager didn’t offer any apology or attempt to make it right. The associate who sold me the phone simply typed notes into the system while I stood there without any real help or explanation.
I was then told to go to the Apple Store rather than them taking responsibility. I also disputed the charge through their credit card, and even that was denied based on the same incorrect information I was originally given.
This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. I will not be shopping here again and will be advising my friends and family to shop elsewhere.

Good morning,
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We understand being denied a return of your iPhone, isn't a welcome experience. We'd be happy to look into this further with you, to see if there may be any options we can provide.

Actually had a knowledgeable employee recommend a product that was half of what I told him my budget was, and it's exactly what I needed. Shocking, I know!
I made a big purchase at Best Buy several years ago. The purchase was for a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. I included the Total Tech Warranty in the purchase and charged everything to my credit card. I paid the credit card off within a matter of a few months and never charged to it again. Within 2 years, the screen went out on the Samsung refrigerator. I called the Total Tech Warranty to have them come out to access the problem. I still had to pay them to have them come out. I paid the fee and they sent someone who had no clue what he was doing. He even admitted that he didnt know about the refrigerator upon leaving. I canceled the Total Tech Warranty. Fast forwarding to Christmas of 2025. I went to Best Buy to purchase a Christmas gift. They tried to include the Total Tech Warranty on my purchase. I told them that I didnt want it. I paid cash for my purchase and left. They removed the purchase in the store but charged it to my credit card later on. All of a sudden, I have started to receive bills for a credit card that I never authorized anyone to charge to. The credit card had zero balance on it. I contacted Best Buy and told them that I told the clerk in the store that I didnt want the Warranty and that they had no authorization to charge it to my credit card. For the last 3 months, I have called them and they have said that they will credit the credit card company their money back. It has not been accomplished. I called Citi Bank (the insurer of the Best Buy Credit Card) to dispute the charges. They came back and refused to remove the charges stating that the charges were legitimate. I called Best Buy Warranty company back after Citi Bank refused to accurately remove the unauthorized charge and they stated that they have handled the situation on their end meaning that they have canceled the warranty and removed the charges from the credit card. They are saying that they did, Citi Bank is saying that they did not and Citi Bank has placed a negative mark on my good credit. I will continue to handle this situation and hopefully will not have to involve the law, but please be aware that this is happening with Best Buy.
Geek squad was unhelpful wouldn’t give me any input that wasn’t just being condescending about me not already knowing what to do in this case; getting my bose earbuds repaired, which i bought from here for $300 brand new and they broke within months. Finally got told to just call Bose themselves, not that hard to just be polite and let me know that the first time.
