My wife and I had a horrible experience at the Best Buy Wilmington location. The sales associate was not only rude and disrespectful, but she was completely unprofessional and did not represent the brand or location properly. I’ve made several calls to the regional manager, as well as the store manager and no response. I did file a complaint with the assistant manager on duty and have not heard back about anything. We have spent a lot of money in this location and never imagined that we would be treated this way. Lack of communication about this complaint is equally disappointing.

Absolutely love Stephanie with Sony! She gave us all the information on all the brands but ultimately we ended up with a Sony because she was so amazing! Even helped us with sound bars and Apple TV! Truly amazing experience!

I recently purchased an open-box TV from this Best Buy, and while I understood the risks of buying used, I expected accurate information from the staff. The associate helping me was upfront about the TV’s condition, mentioning that it didn’t come with a remote or power cable, which was fine. They assured me, however, that the TV had a stand and even checked the type of power cable I would need, which I purchased separately. After driving 40 minutes home, I discovered that the power cable was incorrect and the TV had no stand. By then, the store was closed, so I had to make another 40-minute trip back the next day. At that point, I was told there were no feet for the TV and that I would need to buy a universal stand and another power cable. What started as a budget-friendly upgrade quickly became just as expensive as a brand-new TV—except with the added inconvenience of 120 minutes of driving and unnecessary frustration. Ultimately, I returned the TV and took my business elsewhere. It’s disappointing when employees, who are supposed to be trained to help customers make the right purchases, provide misleading or incorrect information instead. Best Buy, please train your staff properly so they are solving problems, not creating more of them.
