This store has a poor stock of basic needs in most electronic fields. Especially in audio and high quality video cables. The in stock selection of computers is mostly limited to basic units with the occasional mid level unit in both pcs and Mac’s. In particular dated hardware is the norm in computers. If you want 1 or 2 generations past product this is your place. Quite often in stock items throughout store can’t be found. In past months same day orders took up to 13 days to arrive. Want to spend a thousand or more for camera lens, they have no knowledge of products unless a single employee happens to be working, adding to this a 15 percent restock fee you can see that buying even modest quality gear is difficult in store. The returns experience is 5 star, as it needs to be with the lack of experience in the tech sales dept.
This is a buyer beware type of store and without one of the paid memberships. Prices can be exceptionally high on release on brands like Samsung where a purchase of a Fold 7 cost was $600 dollars more in Wilmington than we purchased directly on line from Samsung and that without the trade in considered. The new marketplace has done nothing to help because it makes looking for specific items very difficult. At one time this was a great store with a great buying experience.

I NEVER write reviews but I had a rude employee interaction this morning. I ordered a laptop online for curbside pickup, got a notification in the app and via text it was ready, so I left Myrtle beach 1.5 hours away to be here in a decent amount of time. I saw her walking in (I hadn’t even said anything but hello) and she immediately said “we don’t open until 10” I said okay that’s fine I just got notification that my order was ready for pickup. She responded with “YA you can get it WHEN we OPEN at 10!!! You can wait” 🤨🤨🤨 I’m sorry what? Horrible interaction and first impression of this store. Younger woman, dark brown/black hair. Maybe next time she’ll learn some manners as I had no clue that I had to wait until 10 when the notifications said it was ready now.
