Lazaro is a horrible worker, he made me wait for 15+ minutes then proceeded to say I couldn’t return items bought online into the store?? even though the best buy return process says return IN store, and decided to have a attitude for no reason when people are speaking calmly to him

Bought 2 Ipads on sale $1299 online to pick up in our local store. Had to wait 5 days to ship to store. Went to pick up was told it wasn’t on their last shipment in. Couldn’t cancel order because it was in transit. Gave me some tracking numbers that later find out they are no good. Called the following day. Best Buy’s call center in Philippines answered. No tracking on items. Apple couldn’t fulfill the order due to the high volume. They were checking other Best Buy stores for the items. Well just so happened our local store in Wilson had 2 in stock but they were black. The color didn’t matter to me. But they refused to exchange . Said I could cancel order and go to the store and purchase but now they are marked up at $1499 and could not honor the sale price. No supervisor to talk to and due to their “privacy policy” they could not give me a supervisor’s work number or work email. We own a website and dropship. We are held accountable for every order, have to show tracking numbers and proof of delivery so we are not marked as high risk or fraudulent. Why do big Corporations get away with getting over on their consumers? Not the customers fault if they sold more than anticipated. At the end of the day the business whether small or big should make it right. To me as a small business owner, this was not a hard resolution to come to. Shame on you Best Buy. Buyers beware of all the holiday sales. By the way this order was $300 more on black Friday to no surprise. Like everyone else, we are trying to budget in this economy.
