Nice the got a Best Buy but out dated tvs on the wall it’s 2025 saw one from 2022
I made the mistake of purchasing a very expensive item through Best Buy’s app thinking it would be way more ideal than driving 3-4 hours to the nearest location from my house. (8 hour drive total.) Lesson learned… The package arrival kept getting delayed and when it did finally arrive- it wasn’t even what I ordered and I’m not about to spend $700 on a PlayStation controller when I don’t have a PlayStation and I’m not a gamer. Packaged arrived a little after 5pm. I called Best Buy 7 times since 6pm and just got off the phone with a representative after spending the majority of my evening on hold and getting hung up on by 2 other representatives prior to the last one who I literally begged not to hang up on me while I was crying. All they could offer as far as service recovery was either drive 4 hours one way to the nearest location that had the item in stock to do the exchange OR they would ship the item to me and I’ll get it 4 days after we celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday without the gift his parents and I went in on together and I still have to drive 40 minutes to the nearest UPS drop off to return the incorrect package they sent me… but at least they assured me I wouldn’t be charged extra for exchanging the item. 🙄
I’ll make the day trip to Best Buy before I trust the app again and that’s a big IF I feel like dealing with the extremely rude Best Buy staff members in Fargo.

Tonight is the last time I step into a BestBuy, I have had nothing but horrible experiences with this retail store for the last year. Nothing is worse than walking into an establishment and always being talked down to by the employees over knowledge of different technology, or what’s available in store.. that is if you can even get someone’s attention in the first place. It feels like an inconvenience to them to have to talk to any customer and when they can’t find a product or answer your question, They try pushing different products for a sale that aren’t what you’re looking for, rather than a simple I’m sorry, or let me double check. It’s also beyond inconvenient to see things in store and ready for curbside pick up online, and then them to say it’s not once you get to the store. That’s a waste of time and effort on the customers part for when you can just simply order the same thing from Amazon for cheaper and have it in two days. Beyond disappointing considering Bestbuy was one of my favorite stores to go into growing up. But tonight was the final straw for me.

Everything seems to be out of stock. If you want to get it ordered, they make you create an account with them. Then they will try to sell you a MEMBERSHIP to basically get customer service. They didn't even give us a receipt for a $1200 TV. Realized after we were home after trying desperatly trying to get out of that store and away from the sales pitches. Seriously! You turn one thing down, and they have 5 more sales pitches to get through before they'll check you out. Total headache. This is why department stores are failing.
